Boat Party Punta Cana: The Biggest Catamaran on the Island
Open bar, international DJs and a swim stop at the natural pools — everything you need to know before boarding at Salvaje Beach Club.
Ask anyone who has done a week in Punta Cana which day they would repeat, and a surprising number say the boat. Last season it ran every Wednesday from Salvaje Beach Club on the biggest catamaran on the island: you board, you cruise the coast with international DJs on deck, there is an open bar and snacks, and halfway through you stop at the natural pools — a stretch of sea where the water sits at waist height, is absurdly clear and everybody ends up in it.
Practical details
Last season tickets started at €43 with separate pricing tiers; the trip is strictly 18+ and 2027 prices are confirmed with the release. Departure is from Salvaje Beach Club and you need to be there twenty minutes before it leaves — this is not a formality, the catamaran goes on time and there is no catching it up. Onboard there is animation and games, an open bar and snacks. Bring sun protection, something to cover up in, and as little else as possible: everything on a boat gets wet eventually.
What the day actually feels like
It is loud, social and relentlessly good-humoured — the animation crew make sure nobody spends the trip standing quietly at the rail. The crowd skews young and it is the easiest way to meet people if you have come in a small group. The swim stop is the part everybody remembers: standing chest-deep in the middle of the Caribbean with a drink and music carrying over the water is a hard afternoon to beat.
